It didn’t take long to convince Nate Johnson to join the SendHub team. He has been a youth coach for more than 30 years and also coordinates officials for some of the largest track and field meets in the country. Explained Johnson, “my parents really don’t respond to email anymore, so I was forced to start texting them years ago. While my officials are a little better, sometimes weeks would pass before they noticed a message from me in their inbox. I recently started texting them as well.”
“I could only fit 8 or so people in each group… I have over 100 people that I’m texting on a regular basis and it became a lot to manage.”
Before SendHub, creating groups on his smartphone was the easiest solution for Nate, but it was far from efficient. “I could only fit 8 or so people in each group, which meant that I needed multiple groups to cover everyone. Between my parents and officials, I have over 100 people that I’m texting on a regular basis and it became a lot to manage.”
As the father of SendHub co-founder, Garrett Johnson, many of the features built into the current platform were designed with feedback from Nate in mind. “Keep it simple”, as he noted, is always the top request from coaches. We hear you.
There are a lot coaches among the SendHub family, so please contact us and we will feature you on our blog.
